Garth Lamb

Chief Development Officer

Garth joined the Re.Group team in 2014 and has led the development of numerous projects around Australia. He works to understand the needs of our clients and manage the interface between client needs and the delivery of bespoke resource recovery solutions.

Garth has more than 20 years experience working in the Australian waste industry, including as a journalist and long-time editor of Inside Waste. He is a Director and past President of the Waste and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR).

Prior to joining Re.Group, Garth enjoyed four years with Hyder Consulting (now Arcadis), as the national business leader for the waste and resource management team. He has worked with all levels of government and the private sector, including managing delivery of Waste and Recycling in Australia 2011, the first time Australia’s waste data was assessed and reported using a consistent national approach.

As well as a passion for sustainable resource management, Garth has post graduate qualifications in environmental science, journalism and finance, and is an active participant in various industry forums and working groups.
